MOESIA INFERIOR. Tomis. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.33 g, 6 h), time of Antoninus Pius, 138-161. ΤΟΜΟΥ ΗΡΩΟС Diademed and draped bust of the eponymous founder Tomos to left. Rev. ΤΟΜΙΤΩΝ Bunch of grapes on tendril. RPC IV.1 online 4486.2 (same dies). A beautiful coin with a fine portrait of the eponymous city founder. Thin flan crack, otherwise, about extremely fine.
